A breast cancer is a disease that results from localized cellular disruption in the chest. The cells affected by multiplication, form a mass called tumor. Unlike many other pathologies, breast cancer is well cared for if it is tracked soon enough (the 5-year survival rate is 99% according to the National Cancer Institute).

There are three ways to detect breast cancer: self-examination, an annual report to the doctor or the gynecologist or a mammography. From the age of 25, women must take care of their bodies and frequently perform one of these three methods to monitor for possible breast cancer.

What are breast cancer treatments?
Before any treatment, we proceed to a biopsy. The latter consists in analyzing a sample of the tumor to determine its type and therefore choose the most suitable treatment. This test also helps to know the evolution of the disease.
