H&M has partnered with the Indian brand Sabyasachi to launch the Wanderlust (Wanderlust) collection. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the capsule did not go on sale until August, WWD reports. The line includes clothes, shoes and accessories for women and men, made in the traditional Indian style. Silhouettes, fabrics, ornaments are a tribute to the cultural heritage of the inhabitants of South Asia.
“I am delighted to announce a new launch date for our joint collection with H&M, which will bring the Sabyasachi aesthetic to even more people in India and beyond. Due to the complexities associated with Covid-19, we were forced to pause the project, but now I am even more eager to present our collaboration to the widest audience. I am sure it will make the customers’ everyday wardrobe more sophisticated and effective, ”commented a Sabyasachi representative.
“We are delighted to finally announce the imminent launch of our collaboration with Sabyasachi. We are convinced that today local handicrafts and textiles are valued especially highly and Sabyasachi understands this better than anyone else. We can’t wait to show the amazing Sabyasachi x H&M collection to as many people around the world as possible, ”said H&M.
