Stings: say no to mosquitoes


It is the bother of the good days. His buzzing is barely heard that war is already declared. Perfidious, the mosquito invites itself into our room and quickly transforms our nights into a nightmare. That's all you need to know to take it by surprise and heal your wounds in case of attack.

If the mosquito can sting even through the tissues, it is recommended to wear loose clothing (and if possible thick) to cover arms and legs. In the evening, avoid opening the window, leaving the light on, because it attracts them.

You can use repellents on uncovered parts of your body. If you want to equip the house with protective means, mosquito nets and fences do the trick. It is best to sleep in an air-conditioned room, which usually makes mosquitoes less aggressive. At night, spray insecticidal sprays or plug an electric diffuser into the room. Be careful, however, because repellents are toxic and therefore contraindicated for pregnant women and infants.

Natural mosquito repellent: plants

Some are very effective to repel, in a natural way, mosquitoes. They are therefore to be placed on window sills or bedside tables. This is the case of basil, geranium or mint. Also consider tea infusions and oranges pitted with cloves.

Essential oils : their smell, pleasant for us, repels the mosquitoes. It is therefore a natural product to use to replace a chemical insecticide. Put a few drops on cotton, to deposit in small containers through the house. The essence of lemongrass is the best known.
