Business and elegant, carefree flying and seductive, mini and maxi – fashionable skirt has many faces, and for this it is loved by all fashionistas. In what form will it appear before us in the spring-summer 2021 season?
Towards transparency
Transparent materials practically never leave the fashionable Olympus. So in the new collections, the designers decided to play on the contrast of a transparent “bottom” and an opaque “top”. So skirts of varying degrees of transparency (made of chiffon, mesh, tulle, lace and other fabrics that hide little) were widely presented on the catwalk – in the collections of Acne Studios, Giambattista Valli and Balmain.

Flounces and frills
Another romantically feminine technique that took a place in the top of spring-summer trends is flounces and frills. Among others, designers Christian Dior, Zimmermann, Versace adorned their novelties with cascades of frills.

Short skirts
The most fashionable mini skirts are as short and straight as possible (from the category – either a short skirt, or a wide belt).
