Two solutions to end fungal infections
Does it make you tickle or tickle between your toes? Do not let drag, treat to avoid complications.
Fungal infections in a few words
Athlete's foot is the infection that touches the spaces between the toes. Foot fungus is caused by a very contagious fungus, the Trichophyton rubrum, which develops in a hot, humid and dark environment: in the swimming pool, in gym locker rooms or in our closed shoes! The skin - usually between the 4th and 5th toe - becomes whitish, peels, fissures and causes itching. The infection may spread to other inter-arterial spaces, to the sole of the foot or to the nail of the big toe. It becomes yellow or brown and thickens. Wearing taps near pools, in public showers and on sports mats helps prevent it! Similarly, the drying of the feet and spaces between the toes must be meticulous after each wash. And in case of excessive sweating, we apply a small shot of antiperspirant spray every morning in the bottom of his shoes!
An anti-itch bath of bicarbonate
What's this ?Dietary sodium bicarbonate (or sodium) is a natural product that comes in the form of white powder, fine and odorless, available in supermarkets. From the first tingling, taking a foot bath reduces feelings of irritation.
Why does it work? Bicarbonate antiseptic and antifungal virtues are allowed to limit the proliferation of fungi. By renewing the treatment several times a week, the itching subsides and the cracked skin is repaired. Your feet are sanitized!
How's it going ? In case of mycosis beginner is a natural treatment to try. Four tablespoons of powder are diluted in one liter of warm water, and the affected foot is immersed for fifteen minutes. Then you have to dry the skin well. The sodium contained in the bicarbonate can slightly sting, it is normal. This footbath is renewed until the complete disappearance of the lesions, one bath per day. If discomfort is important, place the dips every other day.
Cream and varnish to treat infection
What's this ? Local treatments containing ciclopirox olamine, an antifungal, to be applied to skin lesions and / or fingernails. If the matrix (the white base under the skin, where the nail is growing) is affected or if the episodes are renewed, a sample is necessary to be prescribed (by prescription) oral antifungal treatment, adapted, in addition to the local treatment.
Why does it work? The antifungal cream, which eliminates the fungus responsible for the condition, treats the skin surface and deep. However, the varnish does not penetrate to the matrix of the nail, which is why we must also take an oral drug (Terbinafine-based, a broad-spectrum antifungal), when the attack is deep .
How's it going ? The cream (Mycoster 1%) is applied to the finger, once or twice a day for three weeks, after careful washing and drying of the feet. The varnish (Loceryl) arises once a week on the nail cleaned with solvent. We continue the treatment until complete renewal of the nail. Healing can make time. In general, it takes three weeks to get rid of foot fungus and up to 12 months when the nail is reached.
